ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR -UNITY GRAND CHAPTER
The Order of the Eastern Star has, for many years, attempted to instill in its members the beauty, dignity, and happiness which can be obtained if you live by the principles it teaches. The Freemason, knowing the value of a woman's support, encouragement and comfort, felt that the Order of the Eastern Star or Adoptive Rite, while not the same as Masonry but with much the same principles and philosophy would greatly enhance his position as well as the position of the women he so dearly loved.
Thus, has been handed down, through the years, this wonderful organization, which today is considered one of the greatest in the world. So, as the Eastern Star guided the three wise men to the place where the infant Jesus lay, the beautiful Order of the Eastern Star today guides thousands of wise women to a life of happy companionship and useful existence.
We take this opportunity to be in sisterhood and service with like-minded women, and our gifts to serve those in the State of Wisconsin who are in need.
